clearly sober enough to type. and most people dont check to make sure their text send, they rely on phone companies for that. must have been a pretty mild blackout

It was pre-blackout by about 10 minutes. I was blacked out for an hour and a half where my short term memory was ~45 seconds (introduced myself repeatedly to people I worked with and definitely knew). And my phone buzzes and goes crazy when it doesn't go through. 2/3 of a half gallon of Bacardi will do that to a person.
