"bowl" isnt actually a widely used term for weed, i live and new zealand and most people wuldnt have a clue what a "bowl" is but yea, i buy by the ounce so i wouldnt even use the term bowl anyways

a bowl isnt weed its the pipe you smoke out of and yes it is a widely used term so im guessing you dont really smoke

no actually its not a widely used term, in fact i smoke weed out of a pipe all the time, we call it a pipe, so I'm guessing you don't go out much

it refers to multiple smoking devices, that have bowls on them, a pipe, a bong, or whatever. not that hard to figure out people.

Well...In america, bowl is pretty common, no one calls it a pipe. Not sure what they call it over there.

ok. I am from america. A "bowl" is the amount of pot you are smoking out of a pipe. "Do you want to smoke a bowl?" means would you like to smoke a round from a pipe. "Pipe" is the tool itself. so lets all get on the same page here. People also refer to pipes as "pieces" "glass" and "bowls".

(continuation from #17) We use a "gravity" which is a type of water bong. We would also refer to smoking one "round" from that as smoking a bowl. If you are smoking from a joint or cigar wrap (blunt) you WOULD NOT refer to this amount as a "bowl" of weed.

The amount used in the gravity is close to the amount used in a pipe. :) End of my comments.

(except for this:) the only Americans with confusion about this are the people who skipped English class and do not understand the structure of a sentence. You cant physically smoke the pipe itself, your smoking whats IN the pipe. If i am referring to the tool itself, I call it a pipe USUALLY. Not all Americans are total dumb asses. I apologize for the morons who make us look bad everyday.
